Fusion between steel sheet and glass coating is critical in Glass-Fused-to-Steel tank production. Strict quality control is conducted from raw material to final product to ensure durability, performance, and long service life.
Inputting the confirmed drawing into the computer, bolt holes and openings are cut by CNC laser cutting machine automatically.
Shot blasting according to SSPC SP10 standard, steel surface becomes silver white to prepare for enamel coating.
After shot blasting, steel panels are bent to a radius according to the required tank diameter.
Glass coating is sprayed on both sides of steel panels. Coating thickness ranges between 230–450 microns.
Panels are fired at temperatures between 820°C–930°C enabling the glass and steel to fuse together.
Quality inspection includes coating thickness, holiday test, and color consistency to ensure stable product quality.
