    What is Glass Fused Steel Tanks?

     

    Glass-Fused-to-Steel (GFS), also known as Glass-Lined-Steel (GLS) and Liquid Storage Tanks, Glass fused to steel tanks are the unique technology, these materials are melted together at +800°C high temperature, resulting an amazing physical and chemical resistance.

     

    What is UASB ( Upflow Anaerobic Sludge Bed )

     

    UASB reactor refers to a special kind of reactor concept for the " high rate " anaerobic treatment of wastewater . In 1970s it was developed by the Dutch scholars . It is suitable for many different kinds of sewage The structure and management are simple , actually an extremely simple and inexpensive design, so that it is then widespread .

     

    Let us see how it works

    Wastewater is distributed into the tank at appropriately spaced inlets from the bottom . And then passes upwards through an anaerobic sludge bed where the microorganisms in the sludge come into contact with wastewater-substrates . The anaerobic degradation process starts and gas will be generated The upward motion of released gas bubbles causes hydraulic turbulence that provides reactor mixing without any mechanical parts . At the top of the reactor , the water phase is separated from sludge solids and gas in a three-phase separator (also known the gas-liquidsolids separator) . The three-phase-separator is commonly a gas cap with a settler situated above it . After the anaerobic reaction , 80%~90% of organic waste will be decomposed
